Community Standards

Community Guidelines

These guidelines help keep GLP-1 Primer Community Discussions safe, respectful, and useful for everyone.

Be Respectful

  • Treat every member with kindness and respect, regardless of experience level, body type, or background.
  • Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks are not permitted.
  • We all have different bodies, paths, and experiences — judgment-free zone.

Personal Experience, Not Medical Advice

  • Describe your own experience as your experience. Do not present it as medical instructions for others.
  • Do not request or provide individualized dosing instructions.
  • Do not instruct others to increase, reduce, or double a dose.
  • Do not present syringe-unit conversions as universal guidance.
  • Community content is not medical advice. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for guidance based on your circumstances.

Prohibited Content

  • No harassment, hate speech, or shaming of any kind.
  • No doxxing or sharing private identifying information about others.
  • No impersonation of other members, healthcare professionals, or provider representatives.
  • No spam or repeated unsolicited content.
  • No undisclosed provider promotion or advertising.
  • No referral-code spam.
  • No sale, transfer, or sharing of prescription medications.
  • No sharing of prescription numbers, addresses, or private contact information.
  • No unsafe dosing instructions or medication-sharing arrangements.
  • No requests to diagnose symptoms for another person.
  • No fraudulent provider accusations without supporting context.

Provider and Commercial Participation

  • Provider representatives must disclose their affiliation when discussing their provider, a competitor, pricing, medication availability, or pharmacy relationships.
  • Undisclosed advertising and fake consumer accounts are not permitted.
  • Provider representatives may not edit consumer posts, delete criticism, or manipulate reviews.
  • Verified provider representatives may report content for policy review but may not control moderation outcomes.

Privacy and Personal Information

  • Do not share information you do not want to appear publicly, including prescription numbers, addresses, or medical records.
  • Be cautious sharing details that could identify you or others in real life.
  • Moderation tools may flag common personal information patterns, but moderation does not guarantee all sensitive information will be detected.

How Moderation Works

  • Posts and replies may be flagged by community members or automated safety checks.
  • Flagged content enters moderator review and may be hidden pending review.
  • Moderators may approve, hide, remove, lock, or pin content based on these guidelines.
  • Moderators do not silently rewrite a user's substantive meaning.
  • Moderation authority is based on role, not account type.

Reporting and Appeals

  • Authenticated users can report content that may violate these guidelines.
  • Reports do not automatically remove content unless an approved emergency rule applies.
  • Mass-reporting by a provider to remove criticism will not result in automatic removal.
  • If your content was removed and you believe it was in error, you may contact us to request a review.

Emergency support: If you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately. Do not rely on community replies for urgent situations.
